Amelia Pisapia

FOUNDER

Amelia Pisapia is an editor working at the intersection of media and technology. Currently working as an editorial consultant, she teaches teams how to harness the power of editorial thinking. Prior to starting her own consultancy, she co-founded and served as editorial director of Novel, a creative agency incubated by The New Republic. She also formerly served as head of editorial for content marketing platform NewsCred, where she advised clients on content strategy, helped build and launch a network of freelance writers, oversaw a team of editors and worked with the company’s engineering team to build editorial insights into the company’s search algorithm.

Formerly a Tow-Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism Fellow, she is currently a member of NEW INC, the New Museum’s incubator for art, technology and design.

Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an Advanced Certificate in entrepreneurial journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
